[Event] The YPP Action Frame Workshop for the NCSS Annual Conference in December 2016

The YPP Action Frame team will run another workshop at the 2016 National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) Annual Conference in Washington DC on December 4, 2016. The goal of the workshop is to help social studies teachers, curriculum specialists, and other civics-related educators infuse ideas from the YPP Action Frame into education practices. The workshop is of a highly interactive and experiential format. Danielle Allen and Chaebong Nam will co-run the session.

NCSS is the largest nation-wide association devoted to social studies education. It serves as an umbrella organization for elementary, secondary, and postsecondary teachers of history, civics, geography, economics, political science, sociology, psychology, anthropology, and law. The NCSS membership represents a wide-ranging audience of social studies educators: K-12 classroom teachers, college and university faculty members, curriculum designers and specialists, social studies supervisors, and leaders in related disciplines.
