Kate McNair puts the [Ten Questions](/action-frame-0) in the [Kansas City History Bus Tour](http://raceprojectkc.weebly.com/kc-bus-tour.html) operated by [Johnson County Library](https://www.jocolibrary.org/) in Merriam, Kansas, where she works as a teen services coordinating librarin. The Bus Tour takes people to several landmarks in Kansas City that echo stories of segregation, desegregation, and *re*-segregation. Motivated by Tanner Colby’s [*Some Of My Best Friends Are Black*](http://raceprojectkc.weebly.com/uploads/8/0/9/0/80900624/colbys_best_friends_are_black_-_corrected.pdf)*,* the Bus Tour teaches participants how racial issues have shaped not only the city’s physical landscape but also the social and political structure of the society (see their tour landmarks [here](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zTw_j1oFYT_4D-KNnZIqoCa7G1XiYyq_n3DqparkATQ/edit)).

Also, please check the [Race Project - KC](http://raceprojectkc.weebly.com/about.html), the Bus Tour’s umbrella project, aime at facilitating dialogue on education and equality in [partnership](http://raceprojectkc.weebly.com/partners.html) with local educators. Kate will also use the Ten Questions for the library’s teen advisory groups in March and April in 2017. More stories will be coming. Stay tuned!
