## **Hello Greater Boston Area Teachers!**

The [Ten Questions for Changemakers](/) Project at Harvard is inviting **high school teachers** to the Ten Questions Teacher Leader Program, which is designed to help teachers learn about a new civic reflection-action framework, to develop learning modules, and to become national leaders in civic education in a digital age.

The informational meeting is scheduled for **Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Harvard University** (Bowie-Vernon Room (K262), CGIS Knafel Building, 1737 Cambridge St., Cambridge, MA 02138).

Our focus is simple. We want to make civic education great again. The [Ten Questions for Changemakers](/) framework, we believe, can be a useful pedagogic tool to achieve that purpose. The Ten Questions are designed to help young people develop successful—equitable, effective, and self-protective—civic agency in a digital age. They can be applied not only to a variety of action-oriented projects, but also to debate, history analysis, and digital storytelling.

You can review an outline of the program below.

#### **Who Are Eligible**

- High school teachers who teach government, civics, history, English, and other social studies related subjects.

#### **What We Hope You Will Do**

- Try the Ten Questions in your classroom and share what worked or did not work with a group.

This meeting will cover orientation, brainstorming, and planning. More specifics will be sent out soon.
- The second meeting will take place in late June or early February 2018 for in-progress conversations.
