Three panelists––including *Carrie James and Sangita Shresthova who are the members of the Youth Participatory Politics Research Network*––will share about the implications of social media on civic education and social movements. What skills do young people need for negotiation, conflict management and the anxieties around public exposure of their values and partisanship? When is changing norms as important as changing laws?
